in da morning, we jus did our presentation on our research. after lunch we talked bout the movie that we saw on friday and went over analog and digital computation a little better.
i liked how he went over it again becuase i didnt get it at all last time.

after that we wrote codes. i like writing codes cuz it makes me think and compete to get it done first. today was da first time of coding i hope its not da last

hey ppl. so wat did i do today.. (july20)
i went to sleep really late so im like a zombie rite now. im cranky, moody, and stupid. basically im a butthead . anywayz back to more important things like the stupid boring classes, today there was a lecture bout computer games.. even tho i like to play games, i found out that making them is sooo boring.. it takes so much work and the outcomes not even worth it.

there was a big essay due today morning and i couldnt finish it yesterday night...
i was goin to but i was tired so i fell asleep.. lol. nywayz i set the alarm at 6 o'clock to do it dis morning but i couldnt get up until 6:50.. and then i kinda worked on it a lil bit. i finished it but it wasnt much.
good thing u guys didnt collect it today

today(july15)
soo how was today.. um.. morning was alrite i guess. kristin came in and we talked bout both side of the arguement of can a computer think or not. i didnt enjoy that lecture because she made us read this packet with a lotta reading.

second part was really good. i really got into it becuase of the debate that was goin on.
joe talked bout AI and how our brain works and stuff. it was too much for one day but i loved the debate. i was arguing and talking the whole time so i didnt even have time to get bored or doze off. nywayz, it was sooo interesting becuase i never thought of our brains as a machine. our brain is so complex and impossible to figure out, or so i thought, but there are these ppl who actually think bout it and make up theorys that are so out of our world...
so one the debate dat was happening was bout individuality i htink.. i believed our individuality created by the developement of our brain and yet i couldnt set up a good arguement when some person said that the individuality is created by sumthing like a soul that we have. i never believed in souls and i dont even now but its a belief that is impossible to disprove. we have so much technology and information, and yet we have so many unanswered questions. maybe we will never answer them even with the time that we have been granted. im jus blabbering

today was alrite i guess. we had a discovery lecture in the morning, which was boring like always. it talked bout the brain and stuff.

we had a lecture bout gravity/weight/pendulum. actually, it was more like an activity.. i didnt do much there cuz the girls were doin almost everything.

then we ate lunch (pasta/chicken/corn/stuff) and started our second class..
in this one, a speaker came in and talked bout the genetic research aobut the evolutionary change that occured with humans and mice. thats not what he exectly said but its a good summery

okay.. ima talk bout what happend yesterday(june12) after i last logged on.

after our lab, we went on campus tour. it was good sight seeing but we had to walk soo much... ucsd is a HUGE campus.

anywayz after taht, we played basketball and then football. then we got into trouble again for peeking into the girls dormatory which was purely accidental by the way.

today(june13), first lecture was on computer computation by larry. it was better i guess then the first two days. the topic wasnt that much interesting tho.
second one was AI by christian. that was soo good. the best one we had. maybe it was just a good topic to begin with. nyways, i liked all the in depth explination and the lecutre about all the planning that has to be done to actually creawte a robot with an artificial intellegence.
and the last one for the day was bout the turing test. its a way to test a program whether it actually had an intellegence or not. then we jus instant messaged for like 20 mintutes

my first official blog

todays ma second day at cosmos. da suits nice. ma roommates nice. foods alrite. RAs are a lil strict but they're cool.

first day (july 10th)
i had to wake up at 7 and drive for 2 hours to get here. i met ma roommate as soon as i got there. hes names john and hes from orange county. nywayz, i had to go to the great hall to listen to the speaker which was boring as hell. then we ate, which was probably the best part of the whole day. then we played soccer, tag, and stuff.

so the classes begins... (july 11th)
it was so boring... worse then the day before. i learned nothing today...
only thing that was kinda fun was the party. i met almost everyone and i only remember like 4 names.

third day(12)

from wat i seen in last 3 days, ucsd is a really good college. the campus is clean, beautiful, open, near by the beach.. now i wish i could come here after i graduate.
um... bout the class that im taking here... its bout computers and codes and stuff. its been kinda boring, but the people here are cool and fun to hang around with.
ill post up ma pix later when i get da chance
